GAC Pack - Gold Medal

Alright so i just ran thorough the assault on 87th precinct on detective difficulty and still only got a silver.

I was assuming playing on the hardest difficulty would guarantee gold rating since it worked that way in the original missions. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to get gold on this mission?

Also any suggestions on how to save time? As i cannot get max clear bonus either, and im guessing that would help for getting a gold as well

Honestly, when i played through the original game i only managed gold on half of the chapters, even with the 1.5x multiplier for detective mode. I ended up golding the rest in officer mode with a faster time. I suggest going on officer and try and beat it as fast as possible so you can get the time bonus. Its a big chunk of the score. Also mix it up with hand to hand takedowns and gun takedowns too.

How I did it was on Cadet run and set the bombs bypassing everyone I could. Then just ran past everyone I could on the roof and then ran right to the 3 cops you have to arrest and took them out asap. Blow up the vans as quickly as you can because it makes the cops retreat and then you can take them out as they are running away... Did it on my second try as I died once on the first try (missed it by just a few points). Also don't forget to skip cut scenes...

That worked perfectly ! Thank you sooooo much dude. I was able to do it first try on officer difficulty. I mixed up guns/hand to hand and rushed as much as possible to save time for the time bonus.

Still having a lot of trounle with this. I've tried everything mentioned but seem to always come up short. Does anyone know if you get killed and reload checkpoint/quit & reload will it still count against you?

EDIT: Nevermind. I realized I had Action Mode on and it disabled the achievement from popping. I just replayed the level and got the achievement at the stat screen.

I'm still having trouble on this. Most I got was 7500 on officer with max clear bonus. I guess I'll keep trying...

How many points for gold? 8000+ right?

Just got 8040 on Officer and only got silver ... guess the Gold cut off point is higher than that!

just got the gold medal on the officer difficulty, managed to not get killed and got just under 3000 points for the finishing time. i found the best way to get the maximum time clearance was to play on cadet.

i have to honestly say another dlc for which if i knew it was going to be this shitty i wouldn't have ever played the original game to begin with. this is junk

I ran through the mission, making only necessary kills, to net the time bonus.
Finished it with exactly 8750 points, the necessary amount of points for gold.
Pretty easy imo.

I ending up with silver on all difficulties. Everytime with 7500 as best result. Max.Timescore etc. 500 at Countermoves etc. Never died...

Whats wrong with this ??? :(

On my first run through on detective mode got gold on all missions except missions 3-7. So i'll be rerunning those on officer to finish up this game.
