Fire-arm freedom award!!

I have found every type of every fire-arm and i have melee attacked with them, Do i need to shoot enemies with them to get this achievement:confused:

If i do need to to fire every weapon can i skip levels or do i have to play it in order?

You have to fire the weapon (not sure if you have to land a shot, but I would just to be sure) then make sure you finish the level to get the achievement. And you can do the levels in any order.

Thankfully the first time through this game I got the melee award so now I'm able to use weapons and hopefully unlock this achievement.

Could have just checked the achievement guide I wrote, but yeah, you have to fire and land a shot with every gun to get the achievement. Melee award you need to find and land a shot with every weapon in the game, including guns.

For the melee with guns does it have to be a melee shot or just a regular one (kind of stupid question). I'm sure that I melee'd with every gun but it didn't pop up.

Agreed. I have almost every achievment on this game so will be getting the last couple very soon. :)

Yeah, has to be a melee shot, and you have to finish the chapter that you use it on. Make sure you use the taser, and the hardest one to get is the meat cleaver in the school, most people drop it after they cut the arm off to get the axe... make sure you use the axe on the door, then go back and get the cleaver to use on someone.

Or once you cut off the arm pick up the axe to activate the creatures coming into the room then pick up the cleaver and waste them both

That is actually not true. You have to swing each weapon, but it doesn't matter if the attack hits. I went through the game over the last couple of days and pretty much used only the fireaxe to attack people, but I picked up everything and swung it twice. I received the achievement last night.

Now I will go through and get the firearm one and shoot SKX at the end to get the last two. I think I should be able to start on chapter 7 and just do the last four chapters to get each firearm. The only one I am not sure about is the revolver, I don't remember for sure if I saw that after the first couple chapters.

Good game, though, really enjoyed it. Scared the crap out of me a couple of times...

A hobo has a revolver in the subway tunnels level at one point. I remember using it to try and smack a big boy in the face then running away looking for a sensible weapon. I don't remember one in the last two levels though.

Ok i did this the other night i restarted level 7 and 8 and got the achievement, a hobo has a revolver in the school, just get to him quick before he fires all the bullets, there is no revolver on level 8 and no rifle on level 7, every other weapon is in both levels.
