F Shogun

I didn't have any trouble with Rampage or Forrest Griffin and I get to the title fight 11-0-0. I've reloaded the match about a dozen times now and 10 out of 12 Shogun gets me into a submission and I tap out almost instantly every single time. I really need help with this guy. I'm turning the right stick like a mofo and trying to keep the fight standing up. My last save is right before the fight, so I can't train anymore. Does this guy have a weakness?

i had the same issue i was 12-0 got to the title fight with no issues at all, fought the champ (my champ was tito) and he just completely destroyed me every single time. After losing to him in the first 2 min like 5 times i just said fuck it and took the loss. I've been training my character up and won 2 more fights, im now 14-1 and about to fight tito again for the belt. They totally jacked up the difficulty on the title fight, i ko'd people in the first round and then was no match for tito.

Try to keep the fight standing and only counter him, i never fought shogun yet on my career (my champ was machida, im also a LHW) but i had the same problem with forrest griffin...he either KOd me or submitted me...so i kept the fight standing with leg kicks and body shots and threw in some counter face shots...then was able to KO him in the 2nd round.

Keep trying though, only counter him...dont try to exchange with him and always watch your stamina bar...try not to let it get to low in case he takes you down.
