Okay, what the hell!!!

I tried Legacy multiplayer. Apart from the fact I could only get two servers which sucks majorly, every time I went to start it said that my connection wasn't sufficient and kicked me.

Now I've played The Outfit, Saints Row, Burnout Revenge, PGR3 etc on online and all have been fine, so what gives?

Did you try it with one of your friends?

Maybe you set it up this way.

Nope, I just did a standard search for a ranked match, with no restrictions on map, play time etc.

Unfortunately, it seems that it's a problem that Mad Doc/Bethesda seem either reluctant to fix or just don't care. Reading over at the Legacy Forum boards, seems that the forums isn't the place to report problems (as in they don't acknowledge that as a place to report technical problems and they don't bother to read there). They either require you to email or call them (long distance charges apply).

Their patch for the 360 version seems to be a bit of hogwash, even though it reportedly fixes some lockup issues and clarifies some of the achievements. WTF? There's still lots to fix in this game, but right now it's just as bad as Saints Row multiplayer (as in it's STILL broken).

If you do contact them, be prepared for the usual "check your <insert all your network equipment> settings/you connection may not be good enough/is anyone else on the network while you're playing?/etc." lines...

I've played Saints Row multiplayer and at least managed to get some games, unlike this.

You could also be a victim of the few servers were not located near you so you had higher lag...
