Came across these listings on Gamestop's site. Anyone know what they are for? Drum achievements - singing achievements??? EA??

A game EA is publishing (developed by Harmonix) tentatively titled "Rock Band"... The game will support (and peripherals are in the works) a microphone (wireless), drums (wireless), bass (wireless) and up to 2 guitars (wireless optional; wired required for rythym guitarist if playing 5-piece on 1 box)... Supposedly online co-op is the "key" feature here, but I expect it to be atrocious as the slightest network hiccup will fuck everything up.

My early take: Harmonix + EA = Great Idea w/ whack-ass exection...

Edit: I just read on IGN that the GHII guitars will support Rock Band

So, i see myself next year in my very own garage band all hooked up to a 360 jammin out songs that I download. If they have a freestyle mode, maybe we can go on tour. I say call it a new genre! X-Rock! Bah, who really needs real instruments anyway.....maybe I can get a jetpack......
