The question is pretty simple. What do you think about that game? Please, be constructive in your critisism.

First of all, I need to say that I only rented this game for 3 days. I'm glad that I did, by the way.

The game isn't that bad as people usualy says. It has good and bad things in it.

The concept of the game, even if it looks a little bit like a kiddy version of the Prince of Persia franchise, if pretty good. It is simple and has some great moments of fun when you are climbing on anything going from jungles to cities.

The combat, on the other side, is WAY to easy. The game itself is a button masher one, making combat not really interesting. They could had added some more moves to the Turtles. It would really had helped the combat section of the game. The enemies, too, could be revemped. They seems to mindlessly throws attacks in the air, wishing they will hit you. Boss are also way too easy. You can guess their attacks after just one or two of their move rotation.

The game is also a little bit short. I did all the achievements in about 4 or 5 hours. I didn't event wanted to try the rest of the game, since it would be all the same over and over again.

The base of the game is good, but need alot of improvements.

What do you think?

It's a nice insight into the movie :)

Other than that I borrowed it off a friend earlier, and I've just got my 1000 points :)

The combat is easily the worst part of the game, unless I'm missing something you only have one move whilst jumping (the ground punch thing) and it's crap :(

Just checked, I got my 1000 points in 4hrs 5min and 25sec

in my opinion it was a great game

but way to short, i beat it in about 5 hours and that was with being distracted every 5 minutes hahaha

but i have to agree that co-op missing is a huge deal

there has never been a tmnt without and they suddenly can change that?

imagine co-op and pulling off family attacks and stuff it would be great

great game, but has obvious flaws

Was a so-so game. Would have been 10x better with co-op, like the arcade game. The thing that bugged me the most is the camera angles... Ridiculous!

It wouldn't of hurt them to include a couple of the old NES turtle games (no updates) as some bonus material. It would have added some replay after finishing it.

Very average. No multiplayer, very little and when there is easy combat, and only one turtle on the screen at a time makes this a turtle game I wish I could forget.

On the positive side its easy points and I guess its good for helping younger players develop platform jumping skills.

The multi-player is forgiveable, since this game is a throwaway. I just wish it were more combat oriented and less run and jump. I didn't dislike this game, but now that I've gotten my 1000 I see no reason to play it again.

I had fun with the game, but it was over too quickly and the 1000 points took me less than a full evening of playing to get.

I agree with previous posters that there should have been more focus placed on making the combat better. The platforming was challenging in spots, which was nice, and it was done well.

Lack of co-op really put me off of buying this game, but having played through it as a rental, it made sense story wise why it wasn't included.

It could have been a little bit longer, I beat it in four hours, and I know some people that beat it faster. Also Co-Op would have been really fun as well. The camera angles weren't very good, it would have been nice to control the camera.

But other than that that I thought it was a fairly enjoyable experince. I enjoyed it very much as a rental, much better than other games I have played...

the lack of multiplayer was unacceptable. i really liked the games overall presentation, how they told the story as you played.

I really liked this game. I enjoyed everything about it, except the fact that it was short. That's all there really is to say. Just a fun game overall.

That would have been nice but unfortunately seeing as the old NES games are sole property of Konami, I don't think Ubisoft would be too keen on paying royalties for 'bonus content.'

On topic: I dove in with the expectation of it being geared towards kids and thus enjoyed it quite a bit. Being a big fan of the Prince of Persia games, I absolutely loved moving through the levels with the turtles. If anything, Ubisoft did a great job capturing what it would "feel" like to be a ninja turtle in this regard. It just so happens to also be the most predominant aspect of its gameplay as well as its strongest point.

My 2 cents...

It was a decent adaption of the movie with two exceptions. Casey and April are such a huge part of the new series I would have loved if they were more than a single line mentioned off-hand as you play. I wanted to fight as April, Casey... maybe even Karai. Second making the Night Watcher into Raph with a different skin was dull. He had that cool ball and chain weapon I would have loved to see implemented.

Gameplay, too short and too easy. They could have made this game longer very easily by exploring the montage of capturing all 13 monsters, plenty of boss fights to pad the game out. Lastly the wall run. The most frustrating thing was the wall run happening when I didn't want and running off to die then ten seconds later needing it to work and not being able to run on the wall to save my life. Maybe mapping it to a button would have been better.

Overall a good young adult game that wastes a day but worth playing.

It totally shows a great insight into the movie, as said prior. But I really think the overall game play when you get to "team up" was really unique. I remember playing the games when I was younger... and all they were, were side scrolling adventures. I thought this game blew the last game TMNT had way out of the water.

The ending, unless you look it up in a FAQ or something, can be somewhat difficult if you don't know which turtle to use. But all in all, I thought the gameplay was great, the controls were awesome and it was an easy play. Not to mention an easy 1000. I'm just glad April wasn't at the bottom of the screen saying "you have my support" like in the original game for NES while your swimming through the electric seaweed to disarm the bombs. I don't miss that at all.

Not bad but I wish the combat was a little more constructive. Too much running around and jumping, they are ninjas right? FIGHT!!! Just a rental not a buy thank god for Gamefly.

I actually wanna get this game.. it look's fun... but the only thing putting me off it is you can't do co-op, that would be great for a tmnt game... I have a feeling though that it would be cheaper to buy the game than to rent it haha

Think the games pretty terrible really, I would like to just get it out the way, but only played up to mission 6 and I just cant stand it. I'll probably finish it but seriously glad I only dropped £2($4) on it
