Okay, I love sandbox games. I have Crackdown already (which is suberb btw) and now I want another sandbox game. What would be a good SB game? I know there is at least Saints Row and Just Cause. Which is better? Is there more sandbox games on Xbox 360? I know GTA IV is coming for Xbox 360, but I can't wait that long. =D

Saints Row instead of Just Cause, for sure. Especially if you're a gta fan. Other than single player, SR also has decent multiplayer, which is another reason to get it. Just Cause was pretty bad in my opinion.

The godfather is a lot better IMO than Saints Row. Everybody seems to forget this game when having this discussion.

Which game has the larger playing area, Saints Row or Just Cause? Is there anywhere a map of those two games? Could somebody list the following games from the biggest area to the smallest?
- GTA: San Andreas
- Crackdown
- Just Cause
- Saints Row
Thanks.

1.just cause
2.carckdown
3.saints row
4.godfather
just cause is massive but theres not much to do in it.
then the other 3 are relativley the same size. if you want gta, then get saints row. but imo the godfather and just cause are better.

Saints Row might have a smaller map area than Just Cause, but there's a lot more to do in Saints Row, a large part of Just Cause's areas are just jungle with nowt to do in them. As mentioned Saints Row has a not bad multiplayer (bar the 12 year olds talking 'gangsta' :) )
I also love sandbox games. I've owned all the sandbox games on the 360 at some point along mine n my 360's partnership.
I loved Crackdown, best sandbox game money can buy at the moment. But since you already have and you're looking for another, ignore this... ;)
Saints Row would be the best Sandbox game on the 360 if Crackdown didn't exist. I loved the game! Only downside is that it can get boring and tedious playing those minigames. Especially if you suck at them, like me! :p
I'd then go for The Godfather. I love the films, and to play the game (although the film and game stories are different), was amazing! The combat system is great, the shooting is great, the driving is great. It's just a really small game and within an hour or so of gameplay you'll have seen just about everything it has to offer.
Last and not least, I'd choose Just Cause last. It wasn't a horrible game, but it was far from great. Mediocre (sp?) at best. We like big maps, but not this big. No-one wants to run through nothing but jungles for hours on end... The story is pretty shitty too. More of a run and gun game than anything else. This game ain't anything special. Good graphics though.
Hope my opinions help!! :)

Yea there is a lot of open space with nothing and Just Cause, and it is kinda a hassle to get around.
Go for Saints Row, it's a great game. Best sandbox title on the 360 IMO, beats the hell out of Crackdown as well I reckon, only because of the sheer amount of stuff to do. Your 360 game collection as well isn't complete without it ;)

id say rent them both first, i hated Just Cause (it wasnt that good of a game to me) and Saints Row got boring quick...id say either rent them both and buy the one you think you'd spend the most time on, or wait for GTA IV to come out.

I'd go for just cause if i were you mate, didnt enjoy saints row that much at all and enjoyed/still enjoy just cause quite alot. The graphics in just cause are also far, far superior to saints row, they are gorgeous!! :woop:

I had a blast playing The Godfather, it feels like a more refined gta. You have to use some tactics in combat, rather than trying to be rambo. I like how they worked your character into the story line of the movie.
Saints Row was pretty cool too, lots of variety of things to do. Some of them are a pain in the ass, like the hitman missions. Most missions are fun though. It has multiplayer, though I didn't really care for it.
The over-the-top presentation of Just Cause was fun. The story missions are like something out of an action movie with stunts, gun battles, car chases, etc. Those annoying hidden collectibles like other games are clearly marked on your map for easy collection. Problem is when you finish the story, you have all the territories to retake and that becomes a real chore.
I enjoyed all of them in their own way. I would choose The Godfather unless you think you'll play multi, then I'd get Saints Row.
