I did the first mission on Hard and I got frustrated as hell. Will have to do like 1 lvl a day and take a day off. Is it just me or is hard a pain in the ass? If it's just me then chalk one up to being sucky.

Call of Duty 2 was like hell when I first played it, but it got easier the more I played... I guess the same goes with any game! Is G.R.A.W any good btw? I was looking at going tomorrow and buying it, but I was trying to get some people's point of view to see how it was, whether or not it's worth going out and paying the new $60 price tag for games now. When I play games that frustrates me, I get into one of those "run like hell shooting, taking whoever is around me out.." modes sometimes.. lol* Yea, that really doesn't work out too well... The biggest thing about COD2 for me was patience... the same may apply for this game. Other than that "time=experience" and that goes for most any game. Good luck on it!

I bought this game following the review I read from www.ign.com (http://www.ign.com)
I am looking forward to playing it when I get home this afternoon!

So, is this like PGR in the sence that if you beat it on hard, you also get the achievements for normal or do you have to do both?

I just went out today with a friend of mine and bought Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Full Auto. I jumped into Full Auto first because I only had an hour to play before I had to be somewhere, so I decided to put off G.R.A.W for now until I had more time to really get into it... I didn't want to get caught up in it like I am hearing everyone else is doing and then have to put the controller down if you know what I mean... haha

Anyhow, I'm off to check it out for myself!

Very good game.. currently working through Normal difficulty on single player... For me, it can get quite confusing later on, when you can command tanks and helicopters and your team all at once. Can be difficult keeping on track with movements and having the time to go to tactical map and setting waypoint paths and commands etc.

anyone else find this ?

I was with you, until you had to rescue the US president, but without my tanks and troops on that level I would have been truely and utterly f**ked!!!! Once you get used to your allies, they become priceless. Especially the UAC thingy on the train yard level, quite handy to draw out them damn snipers :)

i finished it on normal, and i was getting slotted every two minutes, currently playing through hard and i find it better and easier for some reason. maybe because you've gotta be tactical.

I agree with this. I finished Normal mode and am now working on Hard and while it isn't easier, I am beating the levels more quickly. I know what is coming and I have strategies for beating the level. I think there is a learning curve in this game and by playing through the Normal mode, you get the hang of the game and THAT helps out a lot.

Like where the snipers are or where they are gonna be? I hear ya. Not yet on hard, still on normal, but confident I could pass them levels on a harder diffiuclty due to planning and man management.
