That's weird. I thought there would be a fanbase here for the game. A lot of people love the series. I myself isn't a huge fan but I did love part 1 and I still consider it the best one out of the series. Part 2 .......... lol just awful. Part 3 was when the series finally got back together. As for news on the game, here you go:

The Magic-Box:

Capcom revealed new details on its PS3/Xbox 360 action game Devil May Cry 4:
The game will run at 60 fps constantly.
The camera angles will be more film-like
New characters can be unlocked after clearing the game
Protagonist Nero's weapon Devil Bringer will not be used heavily
Dante will play differently from Nero, he will possess the four battle styles like in DMC3: Swordsmaster, Gunslinger, Royal Guard and Trickster.
The relationship between Nero and Dante will be the focus point in this game and future series
The frost enemies will become one of the major enemies, they can disappear and emerge again, and attack in groups

Sounds cool. So anyone getting this game?

I plan on getting it, and personally can't wait to see what they do with the next-gen capabilities. I was pretty happy when I saw they were going to put it on the 360.

Now, if only it wasn't forever and a day till it gets released :P

Well here another one who will get it :) I have never played the series before but when i started to hear about it i looked it up. I like slashing with swords that are too big too handle and the cut scenes in such games are just really movie like. I hope it comes soon cause it will be definetly one for my collection :)

Would someone here shed some light on the whole Nero character. i played the 1st 3 but am really confused on the subject??

Nero is a completely new character in the series. Capcom wanted someone new for new comers to the series and they wanted someone to put the Devil bringer on since it wouldn't work well with Dante so thats where Nero comes in. BTW Dante will be playable about half way through the game! DMC4 will be the best game in the series and the best game of all time IMO.

alright that seems cool enough, just thought they would of started it off with Dante as the first 3 games have but mkaes a diff to the game. just waitin to see what achievements there gunna be bringing for this, prob stuff like max out all guns and devil arms, each difficulty etc.

Seeing as it's a game created and developed by Sony for only the Playstation Brand, I expect that God Of War will be available on the 360 when Halo comes out for the Wii.

Anyway, I doubt DMC will sell very well on the 360 seeing as loyal xbox fans have never played the franchise because it's always been a Playstation exclusive. And since the word PLAYSTATION around here is pretty much blasphemy, I doubt many of you people have played any of the games at all.

Capcom should've just stuck with Sony and left this game a Playstation Exclusive, but with the shitty sales of the PS3 as of this present time, I don't blame them.

Who the hell is loyal to a console? I own a PS2 which had an awesome library of games in its time the best. Xbox wan't as great. The 360s will be amazing for a library though. I can see sony is going through hard times right now as they are loosing rights to there top selling games. DMc is one of the gratest series of action games. The only reason I would get a PS3 is if Sony gets Onimusha and the 360 doesn't.

I know right now 100's of people alone that want this game the day it comes out and I know a lot more want it. It is a great series and I'm not loyal to an xbox. The only thing you should be loyal to is a girlfriend, fiance, wife, and if you are a woman husband or boyfriend.

DMC 4= one of the greatest games comming out for the xbox. Much better then Halo 3 will ever be.

Ya DMC4 will be awsome plus the achievement will make the game last so much longer. the only thing that xbox need for me to never touch Playstation again is MEtal Gear BEst game ever and the foruth looks so cool i wish it would come to xbox, that way i dont have to pony up for a ps3

What the hell are you talking about I've played all three and used to own a Playstation 2 not a xbox but I just see the 360 as the better system. And as for playstation being blaphemy, that's just ridiculus they have there good games and we have ours that's the end of it to say one system sucks is just stupid. And sorry to tell ya but a lot of people switched like I did so this game will probably sell well and the game is cool enough to bring in some new fans
