Just curious what people's opinions are, whether a Primarch run is easier with maxed out Corruption or whether it's better to keep the characters pure (and keep the abilities they have)?

I think it really all depends on your play style. I am just about to finish up my Primarch playthrough and have managed to keep all my squads perfectly pure up to this point. Some parts have been difficult but I haven't had to restart/retry a mission once.

Doing my playthrough and have most most squads nearly full corruption. Grants one abilty to revive all squads at full health and full numbers. Means I only have to keep one squad somewhere safe and wait until I can revive everyone else, so no restarting

It's a different style of play, I wouldn't necessarily say that it's better or not. Personally, I did the CR campaign on Primarch with full corruption with the main motivator being fun. I think the power that lets all your squads come back at full health will save some restarts and especially the times when you would need to try and sneak in and revive one unit repeatedly in the trickier situations. It can prevent you form having 3 of 4 squads in an area that is hard to revive them. Less wasted time.
