Stage Select for achievements?

can you stage select to the last level to get the different difficulty achievements or do you have to start from stage one?

Most likely you have to complete each stage on every difficulty, just completing the last stage won't unlock the achievements. That would just be silly =P

you need to play all 5 levels to unlock the achievement for that game mode. the level select is only to better your score on the leaderboards. You don't even get skill points if you level select..

Okay....to get the achievements for each difficulty you have to play through the "new game" section of the game..i tried this after completing it on easy and did'nt get any achievements so my advice is to just complete the difficulty your on and start a new game at the next difficulty....
