Last Gnome on Earth not counting?

The mutation of last gnome on earth or whatever it is is NOT counting towards the mutation overlord achievement in the in game achievement list? Anybody got a solution or have this happening to them? I tried deleting the hard drive cache and recovering my gamertag...nothing !

same here... the only solution I had was the fact that since it is the same game mode this week it dosnt count toward a new mutation because weve already done this mode last week.

Kinda annoyed by it though, I know it might sound bad, but I don't want to be forced to wait another week to unlock my Gnome prop and 30G.
Yeah, real achievement, turn on mutation mode every Friday for 6, (apparently now 7), weeks in a row for a matter of seconds for it to register.
Whilst L4D are brilliant games, I don't really care about mutation. I have other games to play and most of my friends have moved on from L4D2 anyway.

pretty much, the people still playing l4d definitly aren't playing mutation so this achievement is annoying that i have to put this game in once a week for 10 seconds. They should have done another get xxx kills or something to actually get people to play if thats what they wanted.

what happened to me is that i have played every mutation since it started which is now 4 i believe but this last gnome one will not make it 4 on my achievement ticker it just keeps it at 3. im frustrated that its not working and cant find a solution.

im not sure if this is what the OT was wondering or if it was something else but i thought i would throw it out

It should be at 4 now if you've played every one.
There's been 4 different mutations over 5 weeks now. (Versus Realism, Follow the Liter, Bleed Out, Last Gnome on Earth and Last Gnome on Earth). [I might have Blled Out and Follow the Liter in the wrong order.]

I've seen in other threads people actually having trouble getting some to count though. Can't help with that, I've been lucky so far.

When he says that this one won't count, he means that it won't count if you got this one counted towards the total last week.

Exactly what is confusing about this? The achievement is for playing any 6 mutations. Didn't people realise when you couldn't just play 6 games of Realism Versus that repeat Mutations wouldn't count?

This is actually a very good achievement. Annoying for those waiting to 1250 the game in order to trade it in, sure, but achievement hunters are not the majority. I'd like to have this game done too (though not to trade it in since it's a great game and likely to have more DLC) but I'm more than happy to wait given how interesting the whole cycling game modes thing is. It isn't like it's a difficult achievement, you're all going to get it eventually, just hold your horses and stop throwing your rattle out of the pram because you have to wait another 2 weeks instead of 1.

So what's the official word..? Should I just ignore it this week or is my counter going to move from 4/6 to 5/6 if I play the whole thing straight through? I really would like to get back to Alan Wake without worrying about missing a count.. :/

if your already at 4/6 then there is no need to play this one

Was fine until this one, now it won't shift above 4/6 when it should be 5/6.
