If You Downloaded Your DLC You Actually Have Content To View In ZUNE

Hi guys,

If you got one of those scratch codes for the DLC and used it then you actually downloaded something and got this message:

Thank you for buying Alan Wake! As you are a first time purchaser, the code you have entered entitles you to a free game add on later this year. This episode will be available on July 28, 2010 and a new code will be emailed to you at that time to download. Please check your e-mail inbox associated with your GamerTag in July to receive information on how to access this content and make sure your email address is correct by visiting Xbox.com/accounts.

Now you can't play the content yet but if you go to ZUNE and check out your films you'll see a little something left for you by the Developers.

This is NOT the same content as on the "Special Edition Bonus Disc" so if you're interested, check it out.

It's also worth noting that you're not supposed to redeem the code until July 27th according to AceyBongos.

He's been wrong before and he says afterwards that you'll receive a new code when it's released. Still, better safe than sorry I guess?

I don't want to redeem mine until I know the DLC is actually there. Then again, I'm trading the original Alan Wake in to get the LE.. so I'll probably have another code with that.

From what i'm reading, the dlc code in the box isn't for the dlc as such but to let MS or remdy know you have brought alan wake new and as the message says they'll send you a code (the real dlc code) to your email that your gamer tag is assin too.

Seeing as there isn't any warns to not use the code then i think its safe to say we can use it.

550 megs and half of it is saying what it said when you DL it in 463 languages. (a couple that c3po doesn't know too)

I have the same problem. Suppose we'll have to wait and see if the code works when the signal itself is up?!?

What the hell?? i think we need to wait because the movie said 28th july and not 27 july, maybe the custumors need more time to resend our redeem codes?
