So here's the thing. I'm from the UK. Long story but I got myself $10 amazon credit, which is only claimable on the American site. So I was hoping things could be shipped over, but barely anything is shipped, and anything that is shipped costs like $10 p&p anyway. So now I thought I would give this credit to someone who can actually use it, instead of it going to waste. Has anyone got any sensible ideas as to how I choose who to give it too? (I want to give it to someone on x360a).

People that keep this site clean? Mods or admin? For their great work:)

Do you think it would be possible to use it as a nooby-level subscription to x360a for a month?

Why don't you just create your own mini competition? Or ask the mods to set it up for you, where the winner is chosen at random?
In my opinion this site is kept going by a lot of people who do a lot of hard work and it would hardly seem fair to choose just one of them.

Half of the people would try to win when they are from Europe because most don't read with that kind of stuff. And it's $10 not a big price although it's still worth something.

I hate when they come out with gift cards cards with small amounts, when normally everything costs over the amount on the card, like a $5 Starbucks giftcard.

I doubt it can be used for a subscription, as that's done via Paypal.

Think of a number between 1 and 50 and give us a couple hours to see who gets closest.

Or give it to someone who wrote a nice review or guide for a game. And no I'm not talking about my Ninja Gaiden 2 video guide since it are videos and not my work + I'm from Europe anyway.

Have some type of contest or something or you could just go give it to a random person.

Just make a thread where people post their gamertags and choose randomly like most of the give aways.

I'd take it off your hands :D There's a book I've been meaning to get that I think it would cover.

But yeah, like the others said, maybe a competition.
Or maybe a friend of yours on this site.

As a member, and not a mod/admin, am I allowed to run my own competition though ?

I wouldnt know if you could run your own but you might just want to go ask one of the admins or something and see what they say.

I suppose I could, but they always have lots on their hands to deal with

Just ask them. I'm pretty sure they lock it when someone tries to do some sort of unapproved giveaway. ;)

Can't you buy an XBLA game off of Amazon's website? I know they have a market place where you can buy games and they email the codes to you on the US Amazon website

Yes you can, that's what I was planning to do, but you can't if your in England. Not only can't you download them to your box, but you can't even buy them off the site, so I can't even offer up an arcade gam code as a prize :(
