The way I do it is to press Shift + PrtSc and then open up MS Paint and click Ctrl + V.

Whenever you press Shift + PrtSc, what you see is what will open up in paint ;)

Maka - It's ok to bring up an old thread if you wanna add something to it thats helpful or to ask a new question on that subject ;)

Mines photobucket. I never used paint though.

I used ACD Foto Canvas, with a 1280 x 800 pixels picture and it fitted like a dream ;)

Im running on a 15" MacBook Pro with a 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo, 1 GB of RAM, and 256MB of video RAM. I can also boot up in Windows if I want... Which I dont very often, haha.

I like to make the most out of my screen real estate so I have things set up so everything is visible at the same time. I use the empty spot on the right side for things like progress windows for file transfers, rendering progress, videos, etc.

This is my iTunes. I keep a very organized library. Every song has album art, the year it came out, a genre, and I try to rate them as much as possible. All have the correct name and album, no repeats, PERFECT. I had to delete a bunch of stuff cause I filled my iPod. Oh well.

Have you come across Quicksilver before? If not, i suggest you try it out. It's faster than Spotlight, and turns tedious tasks (such as emailing files, composing, even just launching apps) into a matter of a few keystrokes, and has, er, increased my productivity 100-fold. Oh, it looks sweet too, and it's free.

Oh and I have tried Quicksilver. I liked it but ended up not wanting to stick with it. One of the things that really turned me off to it was how it showed as an open application when it was on.

Some of these desktops are great! My wife's cousin has a great Vista desktop that is a running stream...although he says that the active desktop is unstable on his machine that he built himself, it is watercooled and everything running with 6+ MHz processors, wild stuff!

The MacBook has a nifty wallpaper setting that allows you to cycle through a folder of pictures every X seconds. I have it set to 5 seconds and a 500 MB folder to move through. The transition between wallpapers is fairly smooth. And since I'm not going to post all the wallpapers I'll post a few of my favorites.

I personally don't like that, it's somewhat of a pain in the ass. I think when you use one you may feel the same. It sounds cool at first though. I never used it though, never really liked it.
