Nightmare is unlocked after completing the game on any difficulty .Also when replaying an episode you can only do it on the difficulty you have already completed it on . Finally the collectables are not hard to find I missed 1 tv show , 2 radios and only 5 manuscripts while going through on normal and even then I wasn't purposefully checking every corner. Overall tho awesome game.

Confirmed? I didn't know this needed confirming.

The only collectibles to worry about are the thermoses, which is why I made a topic to to make aware to keep track of the number you have gotten in each episode.

if you finish the game on hard you can replay any episode on normal or hard to find any collectables you missing thats what i am doing right now.

I'm amazed at how many story details are hinted at from the very beginning of the game. Having a greater understanding of the mythology makes the second playthrough even better than the first.
