Truly honest, this was one of the funniest movies I've seen. If you don't like Will Farrell/Jon Heder and/or dumb comedies, you won't like it and you don't need to post in this thread... but for everyone else, I suggest you go see it, because it was fantastic. Hasn't been a great comedy out in ages (though I haven't seen Reno 911!: Miami yet), but this killed.

I like Will Farrel alot, he's in the "frat pack" lol.

Jon Heder is.......well...

ugly. Like alot.

But he was okay in "Napoleon"

So This movie looks.... mediocre. I wanna see it thoguh.

Pretty good; just a lot of gay jokes in my opinion. The ending was just... whoa.

Funny nonetheless, but not like super funny (like Borat).

Blades of Glory was awesome :D. Saw it last night, couldn't stop laughing. Jon Heder isn't in the same level like Ferrell, but it still ruled.

300 was a let down. Why? Because if you knew about the Battle of Thermopylae, you'd know that the movie was nothing like it. They emphasized too much on 'fighting for freedom, democracy, etc'. Another note, Leonidas wasn't the last one to die. He died on the last day, and the Greek fought four times for his corpse, but he was still decapitated. Another fact, the Persian fleet that was destroyed in the coast was really destroyed in another island, trying to flank the Greek navy.

Darth my boy, you're thinking the movie was supposed to be historically accurate, which is why it let you down. It's based off Frank Miller's graphic novel, which is just a revisioning of the battle in a more glorious, gruesome manner. It stuck very close to that, so if you're a fan of the GN, you'll love the movie. If you're a fan of historically accurate movies, then 300 isn't for you. Don't go into things with the wrong expectation and maybe they won't let you down. ;)

first off dude john heder is hilarious, we all now he isnt as good as ferrel but he is in y opinion the second funniest comedian right now.i mean come on Napolean Dynamite, Bench Warmers, and Blades of Glory r probably the three funniest movies u have seen in the last 2 years.
also 300 hundred was awsum. hands down the best movie of the year.this movie had the best fight scenes in cinema history its so kool how they slow the movie down just a lil bit right wen they r about 2 chop sumthin off.

Probably from the movie Sin City, which was also based on work he did.

Blades of Glory wasn't all that funny, there were some good parts, but if you want to see a good will ferrell movie see The Ballad of Ricky Bobby: Talladega Nights

i enjoyed it but it seemed to just be typical will ferrell. thats not a bad thing really but i just feel all his movies are starting to be the same shit. Exactly, why ben stiller decided against the role he was sick of doing the same stuff

I LOVED this movie, my mate and I were hysterical the whole way through it, even in parts that no-one else was laughing at. We decided that was due to our superior intellect and that other people didn't get all the jokes.
Some of my favourite lines -
"Mind-bottling. Like your mind is trapped in a bottle. "
"Personal philosophy: Clothing optional. "
"I just wanna cut off your skin and wear it to my birthday"
Genius!
