I think he is absolutely the best thing to reality TV ever. I love how his shows aren't censored. Anyone watch Hell's Kitchen or Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares? Most of them are re-runs on Food Network, but I found his shows absolutely amazing. He's such a great chef but the biggest ass ever. I just love how he brings this new element to TV. Awesome awesome guy.

Hes on t.v all the time in the U.K and he's ace.
Do you guys get his show "The F Word" over there?

He has a show called The F Word? :(
Awh, no we don't have it. Already sounds like an awesome show. The episode of Gordan Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares I saw last night was this guy who owned a restaurant in Spain. It was so funny how Ramsey just overreacts to everything. "You gave them fucking banana and chicken? What the fuck is wrong with you?" haha oh man. Classic.

The most arrogant prick i've ever seen on TV, but man it's funny. The F Word is priceless in places, whether he be belittling his padawans ("mate?! don't fucking call me mate! Gordon.. or Chef.. but not fucking mate!") or taking the piss out of celebs (Cliff Richard's wine tasting this week.. cracker!), definitely good TV.
Shame he can't get a cab anywhere in London ;) hahah.
Kitchen Nightmares was great. Have you seen the episode where he gets poisoned by, I think, a scallop XD

The guy is an absolute legend and just makes fantastic TV.
Check out his old stuff Boiling Point and Beyond Boiling Point. The first one was a documentary following his quest for his first Michelin Star, the second showed him as a beginning to be established "Celebrity Chef" and was classic viewing.
Fair play to him - a guy who deserves his success as anyone whom has read his autobiography would know.
I think the arrogance is a little mis-conceived - I would liken him to an Army General - he demands high standards and resorts to immense ridicule and discipline to get them. Hell some of the guys whom were my bosses in the Navy would have eaten him up for breakfast.
@Highpass - Cliff Richard's wine tasting? Absolute Classic. :biglaugh

Being in the US, my first exposure to Ramsey was the US version of Hell's Kitchen. And they certainly played up the "Ramsey is a prick" angle.
I've also been able to watch Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word, which air here on the BBC America channel. With those programs he's shown in a little different light. Yeah, he's a perfectionist, immensely high standards, and is demanding. But look at the end result.

Haha no doubt, poor bloke had his pride & joy ruined right in front of his eyes.
Ah i didn't mean the bloke was hard, just arrogant.. I know they were French but he didn't have to say "ok whatever, nodding off here.." when commenting on the dinner.. Not that it wasn't funny as ;)
I understand what you're saying about it being his way of maintaining standards in the kitchen though, fair play.

I love Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares! I felt kinda sorry for the chefs on the first run, but figured the people on the second season knew what they were getting into.
