Disk drive

Today my disk drive stopped working I am going to have to send it in to get fixed about how long will it take? (This is more for people who had it happen to them.)

this happened to me. sent it to microsoft and it took about 2-3 weeks. sorry mate but gonna have to just play other things for the time being

Did it just not make noise when u put the disc in or did it just not read it?
My disc drive wont read discs a lot so i just keep ejecting and pushin the tray back in until it works so like 2 mins

If it is not reading the discs I did make a thread a while back with all the fixes i have found, And other people posted a few ways to fix it yourself.

It depends on a couple things-

How far away from the service center you are

How you're sending it in

What country you're in


For me, it took 4 weeks to get there, get fixed, and get back.
