Not sure how well known this is, but it isn't in the guide, so I figured it should be mentioned. As most people have learned, it can be a real pain in the ass to boost for online wins in this game. There's a way to make it a little easier, though.
1: Find a someone to boost with
2: Have one of you create a room and the other try to connect. Play a couple of matches until one of you figures out the other guy's ping.
3: This is the real meat of the process. Take turns on winning, say 10 at a time. For this example, we'll say that Player 1 will be winning first. Once the match starts, have Player 2 quit. The win will go towards Player 1 without having to waste time on an actual fight. Repeat until it's Player 2's turn.
4: Cross your fingers and pray that it doesn't take all day for you to both get 100 wins.
I've personally used this method and can vouch that it works. In fact, it works for both Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 AND SSFII: HD Remix. There is a catch with MVC2, though. Quitting will go towards your ranked wins, but it won't add to your One Character Victories. You'll still need to each do 50 legitimate matches against each other for The Best There Is (At What I Do).
All told, it's still a pain in the ass, but much less so than if you had to win every single fight. Hope this proves useful to everyone.
