Weapon Base Stats

The Pants Party has provided locations for the weapons in this (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=2921225) post.

Once you begin to acquire some of these weapons you'll probably begin to wonder which is better (i.e. higher base stats). In order see a weapons base stats, all items must be removed from that weapon. Doing so takes a bit of time and is not exactly fun. Below is a table that will allow you to easily compare the base stats of the weapons in your arsenal.

Please note that this is a work in progress and any input would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps The Pants Party could append the completed table to the post mentioned above.

This is informative... but seriously, it's not about the base stats, it's about the parts you can attach. Some weapons are just horrible to modify (PDW-XN.V2 for example). Even if it has good starter stats, after modifications my SMG-05 is way better...

At the very least add weapon size too, some weapons are way bigger than others and thus end up worse after adding lots of attachments.

My PDW-XN.V2 kicks my SMG-05's ass... what was hard to modify?

I messed with my PDW and its stats are 224-36%-88-85-22 if I build it as a scoped design... Yup, you can upgrade it even more. Try getting that clip with two extensions when you can tho. Still, going for the same scoped design, I managed to squeeze out 269-34%-88-86-20 out of SMG. Two bullets do indeed make a difference, but I simply want to prove how easily stats can be shifted to SMGs favor...

But you should know that going for charge speed doesn't get you far. Surely, when you play a couple/a trio of weaklings, this is a perfect design. But I can say that you will have so much fun at Neverland...

I go for charge acceleration, full barrel design here. Ask anyone - at higher MG levels charge acceleration is much more important, especially because of higher full scratch and stun rates. You have probably faced Mad Goliaths by now... could've you done it without AP bullets? I could. You will be forced to fight quite stronger mobs in Neverland tho, and AP bullets will help little.

PDW2 blows because there's no way to add something between clip and grips. Its size of 14 squares limits the upgrading even more. That's why I hate it. Its charge acceleration is about more than 10% slower than SMGs if I rememeber well... Its only use is as secondary MG till you get all 5 Mgs... dump it then.

Yeah I realise Accel Is a big deal.

Yes I have faced Mad Goliath's, Im a big explorer so I have gone everywhere I can in this chapter :) Never used AP bullets, Im collecting them and buying up as many as I can in the Arena, but Im saving them for neverland.

The attack stat is the top left stat, the one above charge speed I believe

I have no idea where you pull the attack stat from.

You can see the 3 non modifyable stats (attack, gauge break, and knockdown) In the item and equip lists. They are above the modifyable ones.

Quick Question. Isnt the acceleration rate a % based on your acceleration speed (and therefor increasing you speed would increase your acceleration)
