I just got done getting the 1,000 Gamerscore on Eragon and I enjoyed this game. It wasn't one of the best games I've played, but it definitely kept me interested and not once did I think to myself that I was bored.
Just not sure what everyone here expected out of this game. It was a fun 6-8 hours of gameplay for me.
Figured I'd post that someone actually liked it for a bit of fresh air :)

I have to agree with you I enjoyed the game also. I rented it and I got busy towards the end of the week and didnt get to finish with the 1000 gamerscore, but I will prolly re-rent it sometime soon. Quick question, can you give me a more depth description of where the eggs are on Daret Bridge and Ruins of Orthiad. Thanks...

Sorry, just say this response tonight.
The Ruins is an easy one, the guide explains it well. Once you activate the purple stone with your magic, look behind the statue that's there and you'll find it.
I don't have the game anymore either, but with Daret Bridge just follow the guide step by step, I had no problems getting any of the eggs following the guide. Funny thing is I think the Bridge is the only one I needed the guide for...:)

This wasn't my favorite game, but it wasn't my least favorite either. It was ok. I did do 650 of the gamerscore all in 1 day and alot of people told me that they couldn't have done that because it was so boring. Finished whole game in about 2 days of playing. 4 or 5 game hours.

I guess its time for me to put in my two cents worth... I bought this game honestly because it was one of the few games I hadn't already purchased from our limited selection at the Base Exchange here in Germany...
The Graphics had much to be desired, but what I discovered was that the fun factor really comes into this game when you play co-op. My wife and I played for a few hours tonight and we had a blast... it's simple slash em up fun... kinda the same thing that made mario fun... you don't have to think to hard... you are having a good time... and another bonus... god I do love the achievement unlocked sound every few minutes haha.

I just finished this one and while I doubt I would play it again, it was pretty enjoyable. I even had a good time on the flying levels, especially the second to last one where you are defending the castles.

For me the worst part about this game (for what I played) was the ENDLESS hordes of enemies. If they could have cut if down this game would have been playable, but as it is forget it, I'll never play this POS again....
....but this is coming from someone who can't stop playing the Rapala fishing game, so consider the source!

I have never seen the movie, so I am not comparing the game to it. I thought the game was pretty good. The storyline was alright. The only complaint I would have is the game is very linear. All the egg are found by going slightly off the linear path. Entertaining and worth renting.

I am going to have to agree with the only other member in here that thinks this game was trash. the graphics were horrble, gameplay sucked, was labeled an RPG and didnt even grace that subject, it completely disgraced the books, and worst of all YOU COULDNT MOVE THE CAMERA, y would you make a game where you cant move the camera? anyways I hope that wasnt too flamey but I really liked the books and the game and movie disgraced them

This game is fun. I say it is somewhere in between double dragon and baldur's gate type game.
