did anyone else actually really enjoy this game? i was stuck on it and idk if it was really the gameplay or the fact that i loveee TMNT but i got addicted for the short 5 hours
i like it, i bought TMNT arcade 1989 as soon as it was released, and REALLY looked forward to TMNT. Just got it today (gamefly) and played for a lil over an hour, i'm about 1/3 thru w/ it, but it's fun. i think it's just a shallow game that's not supposed to 'hang around' like GoW or Halo or FF series. but i did really like it. it's like those little slices of pie you get from burger king on the dollar menu, sure they're not big and they don't last long, but they are goood. same here :D

I hated the camera. Sometimes you got a bad angle and didn't know where the hell you where jumping to..... lots of pointless deaths

I enjoyed this game. They should have made the achievements a little tougher or added a few, but I understand it is mostly for kids. I love TMNT and I think the only way you can enjoy this game is if you enjoy the series. The only disappointment to me was that it didn't follow the story line of the movie all the way through the game. But that wasn't that big of a deal to me

I let both of my twin sons play it, age 10, and they unanimously said, "This is gay." I had to finish it for them. They didn't even want to play it after the second level. I finished it in 5 hours and 43 minutes which is the only good thing I can say about this game. I'm glad the developer recognized their game sucked and allowed you the ability to bleed 1k from it in less than 6 hrs. I wish F.E.A.R. gave me the same opportunity. The levels were boring. It felt like I was on the same two levels for a whole 6 hours. The enemies were easy, except, for one boss at the end that all of sudden decided to be somewhat of a challenge, which only means being thrown of the edge of the arena because you are kicking its ass. Fun. The last level took me an hour. So was it boring? Yes. Was it long? No. Try playing F.E.A.R. for the second time through on easy without dying or playing on extreme for more than three missions. Now that's boring. The only thing that kept me playing was knowing the rewards. An easy 1k points in one day.:locked Thank god for Gamefly or else I would have shot myself for buying this one. :uzi:I pity anybody who paid full price for this game and admits it.:p

What he said ^^^. Thats the main reason I got stuck. Another one was when you were jumping a gap you'd get stuck to the wall and fall into nothing and dissapear.

The game was alot better then I was expecting. After short while it did get repetative though. The thing that frustrated me the most though was jumping from one wall to another 4-5 times so that you could get to the top of a building or whatnot. The control in the game was finicky when it came to things like that. Took less then 4 and half hours to get all 1000 points. If you love achievement, it's a good game to rent. Now onto TMNT 1989...that game is being a pain in my rear, thank god for the achievement guide on this site :-)

i can see where all your negative opinions come in, but i like it.. i like the fast pace of the levels... but not the fact that everything is so straightforward and you have no options to do anything but follow that straight line... but fun nonetheless.. i was surprised

The game was fun better graphics then the arcade. The last level did take a little longer then the other levels though.
