i was also strugling.. i think because you have to use one thumbstick instead of both... i think the plane in your blackmarket has the best handling (surely when you upgrade it) it has no armor, but i think its great for the challenges

Take your time and make your turns as smooth as possible. Dont fly to the checkpoints with sharp angles. You got to make sure youre turning to the way a little pointer on the checkpoint shows. There are just one plane mission i didnt complete (the one you have to fly over and under the bridges all the time, 3x stars).
Make your turns like letter "S", not like letter "L". I believe you got the idea

Love flying it's like playing Crimson skies on the PC , arcade flyer's are the best, no fancy controls, Leopard is the best so far....

Helicopters make the flying challenges much easier.

Dont hold the right trigger the whole time. Let go when u are going too fast and losing control and it will be easier to handle.

I turned sensitivity up and made it much easier. In the demo, I found flying hard on the default sensitivity and so when I got the full game, I immediately went in and tweaked those options.

For some reason, I've been finding the "easy" ones harder than the more advanced ones so far.

Right trigger!? lol .. the only time I even used the right trigger was to take off. After that, I think you'll notice it will accelerate almost by itself.

If anything, pump the LEFT trigger. This slows you down so you can regain control. Don't hold it in all time or you'll stall.

I use a combination of slow pumping of the LEFT Trigger and small TAPS with the stick to correct direction.

Made it much more durable.

Damn. I hate the flying races that make you go over and under the bridges. These are real challenging.

So far, Panau City Bridge Ballet was the most insane for me. Took me over an hour to finally do it. On my final run, I skimmed the water and thought I was going to fail but I somehow got out. Never hold down RT on this race!

Just like everyone else is saying, just take it easy on the turns and don't wrench the controls around. You'll get used to it over time.

You don't use the right trigger when you are flying? You must go pretty slow.

The thing I've learned from the plane race missions is to hardly use the accelerator. Just make sure you don't turn the plane too much either and use the break trigger.

Yep its correct. U don't need to use it so much. When I first started doing the plane race challenges the right trigger and turning sharply were the main reasons I kept crashing into trees. The left trigger is far more important in keeping control of the plane.
