Anyone got any tips for the levels where you have more than one toy box to protect, and at the same time enemy placements destroy your units? I could probably work out a way but to be honest it's aggravating me.
I don't wanna spend a minute before every level in a tank blowing up enemy placements. It's gotten to the point where it's putting me off the game, 'cause it's just boring to do and annoying when your units get blown up.

Anyways, any tips/tricks would help out, maybe bring my enthusiasm for the game back.

Here are a few tips that might be helpful:

-Restart the mission a few times to learn where the enemies spawn and build the corresponding units to take out these units.

-In regards to the levels you are referring to you almost need to destroy the enemy placements so they do not destroy your own. You will also get more money this way to built/upgrade more units.

-Control the units yourself and work on getting multipliers, this will give you more money to do as previously stated.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tips :) I'm on Polygon Wood and although it's not difficult to finish, if I place any units down to protect against the first few waves of infantry, they get blown up, but I never seem to have enough time to take out the enemy units that are attacking my own.

Another tip that I used that might help with this situation:

-If you destroy one unit by a couple of enemy units and need to exit the tank to manage units, come back later and build a mortar on the destroyed location and upgrade (assuming you can build there). Take control of the mortar and fire the three shots on the enemy unit. You might need to upgrade again for the range or repair the unit though.

I did this multiple times on various levels including this one.

Hope this helps!

I did it and got my general rank :) Thanks for that. Unfortunately, the last level of the first campaign might just have pushed me over the edge. I only even wanted to finish this campaign 'cause I spent 1200 points on it. A bit gutted, the game got boring for me really fast.

No problem. I get what your saying, I took a couple day break after beating the campaign and then came back and beat campaign+.
