I believe it is North America only. You can just get someone from the states with a cell phone and ask for one. Most people nowadays have unlimited txting.

That explains. I don't know of anyone I could ask, but it's okay really. The store where I ordered the collector's edition added a bunch of extra's, one of which was a weapon, so I'm fine.

im in Uk and got a code all you need is a quadband phone connect it to an american network i used at&t then send it it might cost you 50P but saves asking people for one PS game is good and dont really need extra weapons :)

It really isn't anything special, these weapon unlocks are all attainable in Campaign. I got the SC3000 from the code, and you can find those on the 3rd Echelon Agents you kill. From what I've read the codes do seem random in which weapon you get. Anything other than the Silenced SPAS-12 from Gamestop is able to be found in game or will be available as a Free DLC every Thursday.
