Actually I've played some worse games like Rumble Roses XX, Sonic or King Kong. Bullet Witch doesn't look to good but once you get the hang and upgrade your charakter, it's kinda fun

If you keep getting hit by those eyes from the third boss just drop down onto a wing when your about to cast Lightning. I just beat the third boss on Hell mode first attempt as well. You should atleast beat the game on easy dude.

i didnt think this game was great but I would not call it the worst.
its not realistic then again there is no such thing as a realistic game unless you die in real life if you die in the game.
the game made somoe clever use of the xbox hardware.
the biggest thing it had going against it was some bad controls and the preanimations to using the magic.
that is a big handicap since while you use magic they can cut you down before the animation finishes and after since there is a delay in when you regain control of your character.

The Eyes was not the problem. it was actually Gettin into distance. I followed what alot of people said about gettin onto the wing and when to try and hit it but I could never get the right distance for the lightning.

Games like sonic and xmen also in my opinion arn't the best game creations ever. But this is in my opinion an interestingly new concept that i quite like, the Y-axis is a bit irratic but you get used to it.

I found the best way to avoid this is remember where the snipers are. You can actually zoom in on them with the cannon with elemental shot and take them out from across the board. They appear when you zoom in but they do not shoot at you.

The 1st stage is kinda dull, hence the bad reviews... But then you get the Rose Spear, the Shotgun, the lightning spell and all, and then the game picks up and becomes insanely fun. Yeah that Saints Row addiction will get you every time lol... although some of the multiplayer acheivements are a little more frustrating to get than that 1 point for hell mode...

It's not hard at all.... It's actually too easy. I beat the boss at the airplane on hell in one try. You should rent EDF or as the second post said X-Men. There are much worse games than this for the 360. If we go outside this console I can name over 2000.

Honestly, I bought it for the fun, because I had heard of it for a long time, and wasn't disappointed. In fact, it is one of my favourites, with Dead Rising and Lost Planet, after Oblivion and GOW. It is a little like Product Number 03 if you played it on GC. Everybody sacked it but I loved it. It has flaws, sure, and the biggest is the lame graphics (Alicia and the skies are OK), but it still is a very good game when you know it well. It is a real challenge too on Hard and Chaos.

Problem is, to unlock the 999 doable points, it will take you 20 hours and 4 replays, and the fight with the last boss is insanely long (around 30 minutes).

Can't believe people still look at games as a tool to get points. Bullet Witch is crap on Easy and Normal modes, but gets a lot better on Hard and Chaos. I had a lot more fun playing it as it required some strategy - e.g you cant just run through the levels using ravens magic. Also, when the "Will Spell" is fully upgraded you have a lot of fun throwing cars all over the shop. I going to try hell mode soon too.

Why is it a problem if it takes 20 hours, or even 60 hours?

If your taking 30 mins each time to kill the boss your doing something wrong, 20 mins max.

Personally, I really had a blast with this game. I read a review a while back that bagged on it pretty hard so I wasn't going to try it, but I happened to read a post by Wreckon Dracgon about the game and he sold me on it.

I just beat Hell Mode a couple of days ago, it took me about 90 minutes to get to the final boss (I died once on the way, on the final level when I tried flipping past all those barricades and forgot to renew my Raven's Panic in a timely manner) and about 2 hours to beat him (kept dying from those damn fireballs).

I rather enjoyed changing her outfit on every level too, just for kicks. Gotta love the slutty secretary!

Yeah there's far worse game out there but I'd have to say that up to the point when I played it, it was the worse game I'd played. It was very tedious on the harder levels but the story was way short and only took a day to beat it on it's hardest difficulty.

I have to say I like challenging games like the CoD series on Veteran or C&C3 on Hard but this game was too easy even with the difficulty right up there. And the last boss sucked, no matter what anyone says!

Ok, the first argument about the game is about the realism…. You kidding me? The premise of the game is that Demons are taking over the world, and a magic and big gun weilding hottie is trying to stop them… what do you want, Al Queda members running around with AK-47's? It is a fantasy game, hence the fantasy nature of the characters. Nobody has had a problem with Gears sense of realism… I put 2 clips into a locust and he is still laughing at me and shooting back… where's the realism there?
The simple fact is that Bullett Witch is not everyones cup of tea, are there worse games out there, why of course there are. Does this game claim to be the best release on the 360? NO it is a niche game, they knew they werent going to sell a million copies, they wanted to create it, and a lot of people enjoy it. It will never be an award winner, and will most likely drop off the face of the earth very soon, but some of us like it. I paid no more than 9 bucks brand new, so yeah… I like it too. I knew if I paid $60 I'd be disappointed with the purchase, cause I researched the game once it was out, and got so so reviews, so I waited.
9 times out of 10, the reason people say that a game is the worst they have played is because they are upset with themselves that they bought it, and need to take that frustration out by bashing a game that many others have enjoyed. The only thing you have to do to fix that is research… all too many times do people buy games on a whim, then are disappointed with it, would these same people complain if they played it for free and didn't like it, therefore didn't buy it… probably not.

Trust me save your money!!!!!

The game isn't hard. I actually quite enjoyed it. Got hooked and played it through in one night (on normal). Started hard afterward and didn't think it was that hard either.

Wish I'd found the free secretary outfit/download sooner, too!

Agree on one thing. The brains are kinda stupid ... but if you play the whole game, you see that they're more like gatekeepers more than anything.

Yeah i enjoyed it aswell.. Bit more of a challenge on CHAOS difficulty, the first hour was pretty stressful but its like marmite, hate it or love it :p

I don't see why people play two versions of this if its that "Crap" for gamerscore...

The game wasn't very hard, especially on normal. When I first played it I unknowingly started on hard mode thinking I clicked easy and I believed it was on easy mode the whole way through until the achievement for beating it on hard popped up lol. The only places I had trouble with was level 4 and the last level on hell mode.

I liked it, it was a game I was looking forward to. solely for the spells, and it payed off. I still don't have meteor, but I'll just keep playing 'til I do.

I had looked forward to this game, then saw all the horrible reviews. But I decided to get it anyway, and haven't regretted it. I love this game. Sure, it needed a few more months in development to take care of some issues, and could have been longer, but its fun and I like it.

This is by far one of the Worst games I have wasted my time with. I would put it up there with the likes of AquaMan for the Xbox, or Superman 64, or even ET for the 2600.

Ok, the first argument about the game is about the realism…. You kidding me? The premise of the game is that Demons are taking over the world, and a magic and big gun weilding hottie is trying to stop them… what do you want, Al Queda members running around with AK-47's? It is a fantasy game, hence the fantasy nature of the characters. Nobody has had a problem with Gears sense of realism… I put 2 clips into a locust and he is still laughing at me and shooting back… where's the realism there?
The simple fact is that Bullett Witch is not everyones cup of tea, are there worse games out there, why of course there are. Does this game claim to be the best release on the 360? NO it is a niche game, they knew they werent going to sell a million copies, they wanted to create it, and a lot of people enjoy it. It will never be an award winner, and will most likely drop off the face of the earth very soon, but some of us like it. I paid no more than 9 bucks brand new, so yeah… I like it too. I knew if I paid $60 I'd be disappointed with the purchase, cause I researched the game once it was out, and got so so reviews, so I waited.
9 times out of 10, the reason people say that a game is the worst they have played is because they are upset with themselves that they bought it, and need to take that frustration out by bashing a game that many others have enjoyed. The only thing you have to do to fix that is research… all too many times do people buy games on a whim, then are disappointed with it, would these same people complain if they played it for free and didn't like it, therefore didn't buy it… probably not.

Yeah i had it got 20 gs and realised it was so hard and sold it for like £11 on ebay, its a tiny bit better than bullet witch though just not much mind you

I just started playing this game, and everyone kept telling me how bad it is. I don't mind it. It was $10 new at Best Buy, and if I beat it once and give it to some little kid for free, it won't be an entire waste of money.

I just beat it on hell mode, and i actually enjoyed the game every play through
(except the end of the 4th level. >.<)
just use the elemental bullets with the main gun and your good to go.
If you really get stuck in a bad situation use the main guns fire bullets while casting out the ravens.

I really liked this game. The magic attacks were the stars in here, especially on Hell Mode. I just love using Tornadoe or Meteor, and bring down a bunch of buildings. All in all, a good game, nothing great, besides the spells, but I didn't hate anything either. Wish it had better voice acting though, and better story, but I thought the gameplay mad up for it. It was a good 1000 points. I would've made the sniper shots more lethal though.
