Parachute Help

Keep seeing people jump out of helicpoters and building and using a parachute - when i do it i loose a lot of health -

how do I open my chute thanks

They really should have put this in the manual. I'm pretty sure you press A in mid-air to use it and you need at least 1 second of slow-down time to not take damage on hitting the ground.

Press :abut: in the air to bring up the parachute.

Not sure if it really helps, but I usually tap A the whole time.

Double tap A so you jump then use it straight away.
