Is This Game Worth Buying?

Is TMNT worth buying, or should i rent it? does anyone think i should waste $60 on a simple achievement game, or should i just rent it for $8 where i have a weaks play wich clearly gives me enough time to complete the entire game?:confused:

Like I poster earlier. Save your money, as it is not worth the money to buy it. It takes about 5 hours to complete, and it has no real additional vallue in playing i'm not even a professional gamer.

My advise is: Rent it.

yea, its a rental ... i just got my 1000 within a few hours .. the games' graphics are medicore at best .. sound is okay ... controls are simplistic .. camera angles suck and cant be adjusted or moved around, its a rental just like fusion frenzy 2 was .. if you want to buy a real TMNT game .. get the arcade classic on XBL marketplace

the game sucks as well as the movie! Sad but true. The old ninja turtle games for the regular nintendo were the bomb. Omg miss those days! Yah but just rent it!

I rented this game, I beat it and got my 1000 in less than 5 hours.
Fun game but DEFINATLY a rental.

what's sad is that this is probably the "best rented game of 2007". I mean fun play, quick but not TOO quick to finish and a pretty easy 1k pts. it's a little fun game but it'll get buried quickly. oh well, i enjoy it and will get my 1k and send it back to gamefly :)

i agree with XGC XCore ... the movie was actually pretty good, as a comeback movie ... although it would have been a hell of a lot better if it wasn't animation crap but more like the old TMNT movie were with real actors in turtle costume and maybe some CGI effect for certain scenes

I think if you have kids and the love the turtles I would wait till the price comes down and buy it for them. Everyone says its easy and it is, but I think this game is geared for 7-10yr olds.
If you are an achievement whorrrr rent the game preferable with gamepass or gamefly or any of those you can finish in one day.

I agree w/ the enforcer. Rent it, since you can get all 1000 in about 4 hours or so. I got all 1000 in 5 hours.

As siad in previos posts if you have kids its a must buy and yes an easy 1000k, i have not played it but have watched my kids on it they love it. :)

Not if you have kids that love the turtles or if you are a die hard TMNT fan. If you do not meet either of those then yes I would say rent or wait till the price comes down.

rental definitely theres just no replay value once youve beat the game. Its just the same thing over and over. After about the 5th level i was just so bored. The game felt like a chore by then for me.

granted it is a kids game though so who knows. I know i liked alot of crap games as a kid.

ok so i am a die hard turtles fan and decided to dish out the 60 bucks or whatever and i beat it the first day i played it and relized i just wasted 60 bucks even if it was one of my favorite things, luckily i work at gamestop so they will let me bring it back but if i wouldnt have been able to i would have been upset soooo when it comes down to it...

if you have younger siblings/children or relatives then it may be worth buying so they can play. but it is definitely not worth buying imo.
