Big Tournament Question

So, after modded weapons were taken away, I have given up on the 20 round tourny. I only need 1 left, and I belive it is The Gully. I was wondering, since I did Hell Burbia and Angelic Ruins on 2nd playthrough, can I do the gully on first playthrough and still get the Big Tournament achivement?

To sum it up:

Beat Hell-Burbia,Angelic Ruins on 2nd playthrough
want to be the gully on 1st playthrough

Can I get Big Tournament achivement?

long answer, youll get the achievement for the gully, but you wont get the big tournament achievement for doing it with one character, on one playthrough.

If I do the split screen trick will i get the Big Tournament achievement or will I have to join a group and do it?
