mission 47 help plz

its sonic and dark sonic race i can get aa everytime but no matter where i boost or how tight i turn it makes no diffenence,i take the shortcut over the reactor type thing , i pull the stunt on the jumps and go right at the fork, boost everywhere and hit every purple pad and sonic is always right behind me and boosts when he shouldnt , i love a fair game.

This level was giving me loads of stress too, always ending with AA because of its cheap rubberbanding tricks. In the end, I managed to push Sonic to the side just before using some purple pads to jump a large gap. He fell off the map and never caught back up.

i did it only just, it just changed from aa to triple to aaa s i went over the line with triple turbo off the corner.

this took me a while to get it, there is a little short cut that helps,when you come to the bit in the race where the toads spilts for the 1st time, instead of going left or right drive staright in the middle where the big flame thing is,there is a ramp there, use a trick in the air so you boost when you land

i didn't think u could get through that, im still struggling with this though, a bit misleading as it says u only have to beat him. :(

The best place to knock him off is on the turbo boost right before the first upside down loop, get next to him and barely touch him and he will fly off the map;)

I got it by kicking his ass.

You just have to be a maniac on the track as far as boosting goes and take the 2 short cuts.

I seriously don't see how anyone could use that first shortcut, I go up to it with turbo on and still hit the ramp at the other side.

Edit: I just managed to get the AAA rating, I managed to knock him off the map while he was doing an air trick on the ground which he seems to do a lot.

gah i pride myself on driving like a maniac anyway but this race has some serious catch up on. i keep getting to AAA halfway through the race and he keeps closing in to make it AA. i turned catch up off because its a load of bull, but i don't think it affects challenges. plus sonic's definitely got the better vehicle, he can trick with very little air time, and his many boosts are more potent. this is the first mission ive had to try 10+ times, even mission 42 i polished off in 4 tries.

maybe i'll have to get lucky ad knock him off an edge...

EDIT: for the 2nd time i accidently clicked next mission, so i decided to AAA it and come back to this. did it 1st try back :). i got to AAA in front late in the race this time so he didn't have time to catch up
