Addicted to Crack-down

Crackdown is pretty cool, but are you? How addicted are you?

I gave it an 7.5 just for the fun of the butt kickin and those stupid orbs I can't find, I may have mentioned this in a few other posts. I guess I'm on a rant.

I must say, this is one of the more fun games on the 360. I have laughed more playing this game than any other console game.

It was fun figuring out how to climb the tower, and I purposely am not using any guides or helpful comments on how to get achievements or find the orbs. I am just playing - largely co-op with my neighbor who got it 20 minutes after I showed it to him - having fun, jumping around, seeing which of us can kick someone the farthest, etc.

The story? Ummm...it has a story? Seriously, I have killed most of the gangs on Los Muertos, but that is it...I have climbed the tower once (I tried once and failed as well).

I love this game, it is a blast.

I was pretty hooked when it first came out but once I got through most of it with most of the achievements, I traded it in. DDR had came out and I wanted it.

I bought both of them, and GRAW 2...

I think I have spent more time on DDR than the other two combined, but that is rapidly changing now that I tried the quest mode and embarrassed the hell out of myself. LOL!

while i see how tis game can get boring though, if it didn't have all the sick skills and running 60 MPH and leaping tall buildings in a single bound stuff, it would not be a very good game

It can get boring. But If you are creative, you can come up with some pretty cool ways to kill people or blow things up. When I get bored, I usually got to the top of the highest building around and jump off. I love the way the body bounces like a ragdoll.

i acually forgot i even had it! thats how much i dont like it anymore, once you beat everything there just isnt much to do or work towards

i would agree this is a fun game...but addicted, hardly, it gets quite old after you max your guy...you will find yourself building hopping looking for the last three agility orbs having no idea where to start and just be like wtf this game sucks:woop:

I guess I have the advantage that at least at this point, I don't care if I get all of the orbs or not. I may at some point, but I haven't even gone through the achievement list yet. heh.

I have definitely had more fun with this game than any other 360 game so far. I even tell the wife I am going to go smoke some Crack when I put the game in.
