BlazBlue is a classy game. It attracts classy people. And you can tell it's classy because only one of the several female characters is sporting large...tracts of land. 3D fighters can't say that. (I'm looking at you, Soul Calibur.)

Yeah but all the female characters have extremely stereotypical behaviour patterns and there's no end to the jokes about their smaller bust sizes; then you couple that with the borderline-erotic cellphone cards Ark System Works sells in Japan, and you realize that they're trying their hardest to exploit their characters no matter their features.
I also have to disagree with the community at large. I'm always getting challenged by people who are 40-50 levels above me trying to bully me. =P
At the very least people can actually play this game; Nei brought up Soul Calibur, in which IV was a festival of button-mashing and Cervantes' teleporting (not that there are less spammers in BlazBlue, but at least there's no button-mashing.)

I'll send people nice messages if we get several games in a row together.
I will, however, send a hate message on a rage-quitter. There is no place for that.

Yea, I hate rage-quitter's aswell, when I was level 4 I almost beat someone that was level 30+ then he rage-quitted .
But I've played so much Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that when I beat someone I thought I was gonna get a hate message, then when I opened it it was a nice message :). But not all players are classy players in this game, I'm talking of course about Spammers, how annoying.

Across whatever fighting games I play (except maybe soul calibur), I usually send positive messages after many of my matches, especially if I win, or was beat with style.
I haven't played enough BlazBlue to get a feel for this crowd, but people tend to be pretty cool across the board (except soul calibur).

^ I usually send a "gg" or something to be polite, win or lose. Unless the other guy pisses me off by being a spammer. Ignorance then is bliss.
