After you defeat the Los Meurtos boss it shows a video of the citizens pulling it down and if you go to it afterwards it is respectfully not there.

Oh, for fuck's sake! I've been looking for this statue for a long-ass time double-checking my Hidden Orbs. I've got 298/300 -- I know one of them is the spike in front of Wang's but I'm not sure which the other one is. It's a pain in the balls, and looking for a nonexistent statue doesn't make it any easier. :uzi:

Look at the northern island of "La Mugre District". On the southwest part of this island, to the right of the highway you will see the blue spot for hidden orb #71. (http://picasaweb.google.com/frodekn/HiddenOrbs/photo#5035591414498270514)

Make your way around to the top of this cliff overlooking the water and the southern island. This is where the statue would be unless you already took down the mob boss associated with it. They tear down the statue after you defeat that boss, but the orb will still be there. If you need the statue for some other reason, you my be out of luck. I have not checked to see if the statue comes back when you play through the time trials...
