long jump question

can someone tell me,when you do the long jump or whatever,does it come up like the rest of them?you know,like when u do a backflip it will say 1 X backflip ,or front flip 1 x front flip,just wondering cause im tryin to get the Timed stunt driver achievement and i can do all of them except the long jump.thx.

It doesn't come up with the message for the 'trick' like flips and rolls, but if it is the first time you have done it then the sub-achievement unlocked message will pop up.

I wouldn't try doing long jumps for the timed achievement, flips are a lot easier to pull of quickly.

ok thx Zef,i didnt think it did after you did it the first time.But dont you HAVE to do long jump with it.like, isnt it front and back flips,left and right barrel rolls AND the long jump for the timed achievement??

no need for the long jump in the timed mission, that messed me up for awhile until someone informed me about that.

Nope, i think your confusing it with the Stund Driver achievement, which requires you to perform at least one of each.

In order to attain the long jump achievement, get a SUV car with 4**** driving skills. now go to the agency ( the first spawn) and take the suv car and exit through port 2, get alot of speed and you will jump at the end ( you gotta pass the rocks and then you will pass a small rock if you get behind the small rock you got it.

just get full speed and launch urself from port 2 across the rocks and the smaller rock :)

If you can't do it there, try the wedge shaped rock in front of the sports complex...facing the sports complex make a right down the road in front of it and go down a ways and turn around hit the gas and just go over the middle of the rock and land on the beach...I did this with only 2 star driving at the time...make sure to use the SUV.

And if neither of those work. I would go to the building with the elevator, (if you want the flying high achevment ride in the car while in the elevator) Then i drove to the top where there is a balcony type thing with two wall with grabable ledges. I used the bunny hop and jumped off the edge. (if you want front flipper this is good place to do it.)

It's a good place to get three acheivments quickly

I was screwing around trying to jump the river between The Den and The Corridor and <bloop> achievement unlocked. Those ramp trucks are brilliant?
