Weyland on Hard?

I have a pulse rifle with no grenades and a sniper, and i don;t understand how it is possible to kill him. You die the second he shows up with whatever the hell gun it is he is using. All i know is i am never going to waste my time on Nightmare. Die once and re-do the whole level? Waste of time. So how do you kill this bastard?

at first I felt like you, died once he appeared shooting at me. But then I got the grip of it rushing up the stairs all to the right and keeping the distance to him (circle around the grid), while shooting him with the sniper rifle.

actually i found it much easier...to run past him up the stairs..grab a shotgun if you don't already have one....and just melee then shoot repeat process till he is dead...he get's stunned when melee'd then he get's stunned again with a close range shot. so spam the hell out of it...i know i did. On second try he didn't even get one shot off.

I also got rocked the first go, I ran up the stairs expecting he was just an android with a special skin, and got blasted by his UberShotty... Whish we had access to that bad boy! lol but the second time, I remained below the stair crest, and sniped him in the face every time he was about to come down. This caused him to stumble a little backwards and i just rinsed and repeated until he finally dropped off. Still havent tried it on nightmare, I am sure that for all three campaigns nightmares gonna be a wild ride! Great game though, love the series.

I ran up the stairs clear to the top, ran off the left side, and somehow he got bugged into a box at the base of the second set of stairs. It let me blast away at him.

I really hate games that have no checkpoints on the hardest difficulty. Id rather them have checkpoints, and just be harder overall.

I found this really easy (and really cheap) way, when you come up the stairs you have these statue's to the right and left. I kept circling around one of them and he only got of a few shots while i could shoot him the whole time.

Did the exact same thing and worked like a charm.

Another easy cheap way I found.... once the boss battle starts, sprint past him, up the stairs... its possible to jump behind the predator coffin (if it is a coffin) he doesn't really shoot at you. just pop out blam him in the face. he might go downstairs again but then you just jump onto the platform and up he comes like a good little boy ready to get abused. I've done this on hard but not on nightmare...... YET

Try him on Nightmare lol, his shotgun is OP! i had that pulse rifle and just kept the trigger down lol he nearly killed me, was mad lucky :)

Before entering the room pick up the grenades near the door, when you enter run up and spam out those grenades at him which should get him half killed, grab the shotty to the right of the stairs and use the secondary fire, he should be dead within two clips.

I found him really easy on hard. Use the shot gun, and stay behind the statue to the left or right once you go up the stairs. Shoot both barrels at once and just keep hiding behind the statue.

That's what I did, just stayed around the statue on the left hand side and used the shotgun.
