So Capcom and Blue Castle games have verified some sort of multiplayer in Dead Rising 2. I guess there could be a few types of multiplayer, either zombies mode like in Halo, or you could maybe do story mode co-op. Either way there is going to be some sort of multiplayer, and if it co-op that would be great. My survival plan for co-op would be playing with one of my friends, traveling back to back collecting food and any weapons and make a stash of items. I would make a barricade with the weapons and shoot off the zombies one by one. I am really getting excited for this game and can't wait for it's release.

They had an article on the Multiplayer in Game Informer. It's a "game show" with American Gladiator-esqu mini-games where you compete with others to get the highest number on zombie kills/points. It looked like Fuzion Frenzy with zombies, though:(, so we'll just have to ait and see if it's any good.

Well its been confirmed that there is going to be co op:woop: and i've always wanted dead rising to be co op because the options of what two people can do with a horde of zombies is endless so for a plan... i have none but i'm sure ill come up with something fun.

I just want to have fun and play this with my friends. I probably won't play that stupid multiplayer mode that's like a gameshow, but I'll play the campaign and co op.

I'm just hoping that this time I'll be able to survive for 7 days with my friends this time.

If all or most of the achivements can be done in co-op then it shouldn't be too bad.
I don't want to see another 7-day survivor achievement though.

Agreed, there better not be something like 7-day Survivor in this game too, or at the very least let us SAVE THE GAME. Even if it's only one save per run, that's enough for me. I just hated getting all the way to the end, then have all that progress lost by being careless and getting killed by something cheap (yeah, I'm looking at you Sniper Carlito *shakes fist angrily in air*).
And besides that, it's such a boring achievement, so much doing nothing. I'd rather be doing something, even something tedious like running over zombies with a car over and over again than just sitting there with nothing to do. And even then, something that doesn't take as long as 14+ real life hours to complete.

Lol, I just turned it on, got the mega blaster, had the food map and this thing running which you get to run in synch with the in-game clock (gives you boss locations, when they will appear, when they will disappear, and duration of when food court glitch will be in effect, Highlighted in red too, score). Then when I needed to camp, just pulled out my alarm clock and set it for 15 mins and pulled out a good book :D . That was my strategy. It worked pretty well.
