Thoughts on some of the guides here on this forum regarding "No fumbles" and "Dynasty Trifecta"...
- I've played games with each of the top 10 teams and even when I press Y to hold the ball, I get hit and fumble the ball fairly randomly/sporadically. I'm not sure if there's something else that can help unlock this, but I'm a bit put off by people saying "it's easy, you won't fumble much". Maybe you got lucky, but I have yet to complete a game without multiple fumbles...
- The Dynasty Trifecta definitely cannot be different teams (if you choose all 12 when setting up your Dynasty). I've played & won the NC game in season 3 after 2 of my 12 teams won titles to get the "streak" going, and it hasn't unlocked after about 5 attempts. I'm just not sure how to get a team to the title 2 years in a row to start by Simming only. One year, there were several top Prestige teams that were undeafeated and a 10-2 Notre Dame team was in the title game. (It's disappointing that real life BCS drama made it into this game.)
- A note on the Trifecta... I've even simmed through, one game at a time, with teams like USC & Texas, going undefeated, and been left out of the title game. So there is definitely a bit of luck going on here.
Anyway, I just wanted to share to spare anyone else going back to play this game a bit of frustration with some of the Guides around here. I wish people who create guides would be more conservative with their "it's so easy" commentary. Maybe when creating a guide, you could collaborate with someone to share the exact settings you used in all of the settings menus???
