in the forest, all i did was jump my way through. you dont have to fight anyone just keep jumping and moving around and you'll find your way through. thats how i got past the town and the forest lol

yeah i just started to run too i got lost and then said fuck it and just ran and then found the town so ehh what ever works u know

just stick to the left side of the screen and you will come out of the forest. if your really good you can just jump over each roadblock and make it to the town without dying as well..

Yeah like everyone else is saying use the gatling gun preferably upgraded if it isnt your first time round i think there are 2 or 3 "screamers" roaming in the forest and annoying mutated humans. After that there will be a giant, gatling gun or machinegun works best once he goes down checkpoint to the next section there will be a couple of blockades and after that the level ends.

Seems everybodys using the run for it technique. That wont work on harder difficulties though when it comes to the barricades, gatling gun level 3, element shot and ravens...hmmm.

This was mentioned in another thread, but the best way to avoid the ones you dont kill is to use dodge right before the spirits come down on your head. They miss and die.

well so far the run worked for me all the way thru chaos. alot of the game if you know a checkpoint is coming up and you dont need the points to upgrade you can just jump thru it.. pretty simple and less of a hassle than trying to kill everybody.. just jump jump jump....it may not work everytime, but it is doable....

it take some tries but I was able to do the run trick on hell mode as well, All I did was just dodge and when I landed dodged again, all the way thru. I jumped over the first and second barricade then cast the raven spell and just dodged on thru from there. Took me about 6 tries but it does work.

Bingo. Dodging is key for harder difficulties, as well as the mastering of the gatling gun. Stick to the left side of the screen and just roll till u get sick, then keep rollin.

kill the screamers with machine gun+elemental shot (fire). Shotgun works fine against the possessed ones, gatling is efficient against the spirits, provided they're not too close. When you reach the barricades, cast the tornado and enjoy the show. Raven panic + run may work in the forest, but it will cost you a big chunk of your magic bar, and you don't want that (barricades+giga).
