i am not sure and i havnt tested this yet but somone told me that if u beat it threw once and get the lvl select that u can go threw and beat the last stage and the final boss on each difficulty and that it will unlock that achievement. anyone tested or heard of this or am i crazy?

hmm not sure, i am on the last level and after I beat it I can see if i can do it on easy and get the achievement. if i feel like stayin up longer : /

It probably considers the difficulty complete when you have beaten all stages in that difficulty, not just the final one.

Also, wouldn't you unlock the achievements for 'lesser' difficulties when you complete a higher one?

I don't think this is true for any game released for the 360 yet (Eragon, Gears of War, etc...) None of these developers seem to realize we don't want to play a game 3-5 times through.

This one is the worst through with the hardest mode (Hell Mode) only being worth 1 point.

Erm. When you complete Gears of War on Insane, you would unlock the other two sets of achievements at the same time. The same goes for Marvel Ultimate Alliance if you beat it on Hard.

you gotta beat the game once to unlock insane mode in GoW but i wish uou could just go through GoW on insane, woulda saved alot of time lol and yeah you cant beat the game on Normal and get Easy or Hard and get Easy and Normal, you gotta beat it on each difficulty

You can just play online in coop on Insane, then you get even more achievements =P

Has anyone tried this on bulletwitch?? Does it work. I beat the game on easy but I am currently trying to get all upgrades by starting a new game on normal and just repeating the first level getting 250 pts at a time. Thanks for the help

Seems like a waste, just play all different difficulties, bet u have 2 beat every mission on each diff. hard aint difficult, havent tried the other 1 yet cuz i have beaten it twice allready, need a week break or so. This game is garbage, short though

1st time through this garbage game I played it on hard thinking it would unlock the easy and normal achievments, like gears did, but it didn't. So go through the game on easy and work your way up cuz it took me forever to beat the game cuz the difficulty was 2 high 4 a new character. Also can somebody confirm if u beat the last level on watever dificulty does it give u the achievment. I can't wait 2 b finished so I can throw this crap away!

Wow I am impressed you got through it on hard not fully weaponed up. It does not unlock if you beat it on last stage only. I beat game on Easy and went to stage 6 normal and beat it and it did not unlock. I am currently just starting a new game on Normal and repeating the first level to get all power up achievements then I plan to go through on Normal & Hard to get those & hopefully get 15hr along the way. I agree this game is not that great I can only play it for about 1hr at a time and I have to put it away.

I just beat it on CHAOS last night in about 3 hours .. there are controller throwing moments .. and the game is alot different then it is on HARD .. but i can say the final boss i beat in one try on CHAOS .. once you know what to do he is a piece of chocolate cake .. i am not looking forward to playing the whole game on the hardest difficulty just to get one point but hey .. the HELL achievement is one to brag about .. so i am gonna try and beat it tonight on HELL and i should be 1000/1000 very soon

Umm no all the enemies are in the same places .. everything is the same in the game the only difference is the amount of damage you can take and the enemies can take .. i just beat it on hell and i must have died over 100 times you get shot like three times and your dead .. the enemies take some serious ammo to take down .. but i used alot of raven magic to keep them from shooting and the element spell with the regular Auto rifle they do not like fire .. lol .. and i am now done with Hell.

I think Chaos is going to be the last difficulty for me. I'm already pissed off that I finished the game on hard and didn't get the other achievements. I think the game is ok but I don't want to play it 5 times.

This game you ahve to complete each difficulty independently. also fighing just the final boss from the stage select and a difficulty WILL NOT give you the achievment or count towards the completion of that given difficulty. I tested this on Hard and beat the last boss and it did not unlock. The achievment was not unlocked until I played through Hard difficulty and defeated the last boss again.

I first played the game on hard without any powerups and I went through the game just fine. It is possible, people just want to be really strong when they first play it.

Good point about the hell achievment but wouldn't you be proud about completing it on hell even if it is worth one measly point?


By the way Pants Party, gears of war unlocks casual,hardcore and insane if done on insane.

I mad the mistake of taking on the game on Hard level thinking it would unlock the rest as well. Felt stupid realizing it could have been easier if I had levled up first. Gonna have to read the instructions next time.
