For those of you who don't have the Final Fantasy wiki bookmarked and are curious as to what Lightning's real name is, I figured I'd throw you a bone. It's Éclair Farron. Éclair is French for Lightning, btw.

Her parents died and she blames herself. As a way to abandon her "weak" past self, she takes up the name Lightning.
