Forever falling just before Greed boss... glitched through

Has anyone encountered the error.
I've just crawled around on the back of one of these huge minotaur looking thingies. And then I end up at that big golden wheel, lava starts pouring in and *pop* the floor dissapeared and I was free falling in blackness... can't restart checkpoint so have to revert to last save.

Anybody tried this and know if it happens for a special reason?

Other than this shitty bug it has been a plesant yet mildly disgusting experience.. so far.

Edit: Just did it again. This time no problems.

something similar happened to me with the death fight, though restarting the game helped thou.

Same thing happened to me at the same point all u could do is walk around in darkness but couldnt attack or anything had to reload the save hopefully they will fix it when they patch the game with trials of st lucia
