Couple of quick questions.

1) From reading forums I presume things dont carry over? so if I play through and collect items randomly, and play for fun, will the new game I play next reset everything so I can use a guide? or will my collectibles carry over?

2) I dont see any difficulty achievements? can the game be 1000/1000 on easiest setting?

3) Are there puzzle elements? if so are they hard? or pretty straight forward?

Read the roadmap in my achievement guide, it covers all your questions, except 3).

No, they're not hard, some might leave you thinking for a whole minute, but that's about it. :-)
