Pretty easy, mate.

Go to the bottom of the hill and take a left down a street. There are alleys to your right. You will have to wind yourself around a maze and kill the floating brain creatures. This is a puzzle you will see again throughout the game.

if your still stuck just use lightning to blow them up, thats the only way you can. if your having this much trouble on the first stage, then wait till you get onto stages 3 4 and 5 stage 6 isnt really that hard (its basically the same as stage 2)

Are you playing the game on easy difficulty? If you're playing on hard, stop waisting your time like I did, you will not get the achievements for easy and normal. Start on easy and the game will get a lot easier on hard and anything after.

He's right, the same happens in level 2 and 6 but level 6 isnt as tightly packed.

Yeah wait til the 10,000FT battle on level 3 and then demon on level 6.
