I used a combo of the guides on here and the guide book you can buy from stores. All I did was beat an area's bosses, the divided that area up into sections and got all the orbs in that section before I moved on. Takes some time but you make sure you get them all that way, and keeps me from pulling out my hair looking for the last one or two orbs.

If you stand on one of the buildings around it you can jump and grab onto a horizontal ledge bit and then keeping jumping up

Well this isn't going to make sense...but here goes...
Find horizantol ledges AND diagonal ones to grab on to. There is a certain way to grab on to the diagonal ones. Basically, if you jump on the right part, where the angle of the ledge is not severe, than you'll get up. At a certain point, you can just jump and run the rest of the way

On a related note, how did everyone get the hidden orb on the obelisk in front of Wang's Tower? I probably spent a couple hours just on that one. Jumped off of Wang's Tower twice to get it, but missed both times. So I ended up just tossing around cars, busses and dumpsters until I could form a stack that would get me high enough to grab onto the notches in the obelisk. A great many civilians died in the acquisition of that orb. Of course, if I were to see someone lifting busses and throwing them around, I'd stay the fuck out of his way... but that's just me.

I'm on 499 for agility and need 3 more for hidden, I did the same thing for Wangs tower, piled up cars and buses and everyting else to get it... A great many civilians died in the effort for me as well. They just kinda get in the way.....

I've completed 486/500 of the agility orbs (green ones) and 212/300 of the hidden orbs (blue ones) without using a strategy guide thus far. I'm finding that those that I haven't collected yet are orbs that were in Los Muertos where I didn't have a high enough agility to reach, so I'm going back through all the locations. I feel like I'll get these without any guides but if it comes down to it and I'm only a few away, I'll use a guide to figure out where the last couple are if need be. But congrats to all those who have already gotten them!

I have recently started my orb collecting, and there's no way I'm going to randomly do it.

I'm systematically clearing out an area and making sure I get them all. And, I have a huge fear that I'm gonna miss one... It'll be the end of me if that happens.

It happened in Saints Row with the CD's (59 out of 60), but it'll be far FAR worse if it happens in this game.

i have like 560 orbs, i only have like 110 of the hidden orbs though, and the thing i like is that i left the agility orb's in clumps so when i find one i will find 3 others

Found my last agility orb at Shai Gen next to a huge red bilboard. West side of the map next to the bridges.

Same for me. As it turned out, I went through the map twice and found the last agility orb and last hidden orb where I started my search. The agility orb was completely by accident. I saw some barrels on the oil rig I wanted to blow up, and voila, there was the last agility orb for me. It is nice to be done with the search, though.

I had heard about that, but never seen it actually proven. A lot of times, it's just forgetting that you picked one up. Kind of difficult to remember all 500 that you grabbed individually.

restarted my career and doing it with a guide, but might have figured out what i had done to miss/not get some.

i was rememberin that i had gotten some of the lower ones, after seeing them from high above. and i remember that i jumped down to them and on a couple i died when i landed on the spot where they were.

is it possible that they would not be counted? or counted on screen but not saved?

this could be a problem that others may have but not know it when searching for their last 1, 2, or 3.

just thought i would put this out there for others to think about.

I'm not sure if you want to start over since the update is supposed to increase the audio as more orbs are picked up and fewer remain.

On my old game I had 3 agility orbs to go, and I couldn't find any of them. So I restarted and used a guide. I cleared Los Meurtos and the Agency, and wasn't sure about the Volk. After a while I stopped bothering and just took what I saw.

Anywho, today I used a map to look in Shai-Gen and found the last 4 which I need. 800/800 orbs thank god. Now I just gotta steal me some gang vehicles.

Can't figure out where I missed the agility orb, most of them are so obvious to spot while you're jumping round the city.

If you're just starting...my suggestion is to keep a count of the green orbs you get on each island. It'll make it easier in the end when you have twenty or so to find and you know you still need 13 or so in Los Muertos...etc.

It's like crysis averted.

I know exactly what you're talking about. As I said, my last 3 orbs were in the last 25 I checked, and the last one was in the second-to-last one on the list. I was already making plans to go through the entire thing again... The sound of orb #800 humming was one of the greatest things I've ever heard.
