That was so painful to read, anyhow, if you had taken the time to read the card carefully you would have noticed it's in CAPS, rather than standard lettering.

It's not that the code doesn't work, it's just you didn't take into account that some codes are case sensitive. Change your type style to upper case and enter the code, it should work straight away.

Now if YOU would have taken the time to READ what i wrote u would know the problem is not with my code! i cant get on the ea server at all. I put in my disc and try to connect to cerberus and it says lost connection to mass effect server or it timed out please try again later

This is just a general issue with the EA servers and network. It's like it for every single EA game that's links up to the network. Only suggestion i can make for the poor connection to EA is make sure that your NAT settings are open and not closed. I've found a lot of my friend have had this issue in the past and it tends to correct it.

If not then it's just the EA servers in general and you will just need to keep trying to connection.

Dude, don't give up on Bioware just because EA is Fuct, I have a similar issue. I pre ordered a standard copy with no redeem code and I also finished ME Galaxy on my iPhone which told me at the end that I have a 'gift'waiting for me in ME2, haven't found the so called 'gift' yet so I decided to purchase 1500ms points so I could pay the 1200ms to get a code from Cerberus which it advertises in the freakin' main menu of the game and for the last 10 hours since I first tried it keeps saying "Cant download items. Please try again later" (and I'm in Australia FYI) EA is just a big bag of smashed arseholes who ruin games for gamers and I hate the fact that the got my money for this and Army of Two 40th day and BF1943 and so on. Just spam them every hour with the same complaint in an email till they fix this shit, that's what i' e been doing.
