dynasty warrios or samurai warriors

it is my birthday soon and i want to get some good games i was just wonderin wat was better samurai warriors or dynasty warriors ive played dynsty warriors before and liked it but ive never played samurai warriors so i was just wonderin if it good plz can people post back :)

I've had both, and i returned DW after about an hour of playing. It's just bad.
I'd say SW is wayyy better, but that's because i love Japanese history/mythology.

Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires has a bit of strategy element thrown into it so you can choose where you are going to attack, making items, etc. In Samurai Warriors 2, you folow a little story line for each character which consists of 5 or 6 battles. If you liked the earlier Dynasty Warriors games (non-empires) then you will probably like Samurai Warriors as it is very similar.

That's true. Also, DW5 is about Chinese empires, while SW2 is about feudal Japan. Sometimes people are more interested in one culture more than the other, but having played both, I'd say they are just about even.

Well me and my cousin always use to rent DW for PS2 and play all the time, and i have always liked DW and i have never played SW, so i am going to have to tottaly go with DW all the way.:)

Dynasty Warriors, Never played Samurai Warriors... But after playing Warriors Orochi, once I get 1000 (Got like 750) Im getting both Samurai Warriors because KOEL rocks.

Samurai Warriors is the better choice. But I like to follow Japaneese history more than Chinese history.
