These two games kept me occupied for hours on end for a kid.
Monster Rancher is no doubt the most clever game to date. If anyone fi unfamiliar with the show, monsters are brought to life from the stone discs found by the characters in the program. Well, in the game you could take your Monster Rancher disc out, the game would carry on playing, you would put another disc in (could be another ps1 game, a music cd, a dvd) and it would bring a monster to life for you. It was something to do with the codes on the disc that determined what monster you got. But it was hella fun putting in any disc that I could find day in day out just to see what I got back :)
And as for digimon world, well I just loved building my own little village, especially when i got the fighting arena.
Anyway, anyone familiar with either of these games? Ps, sorry for wall-o-text.
