Best Buy Rips off There Customers!

i saw it on AOTS yesterday that Best Buy has been ripping off there customers, by having one price on the site (that you go to) then having another site that they show you at the store that has the price that they want you to pay, making you think that the price changed.

That happened to my brother with an MP3 player that was on sell. So he just bought it online and picked it up in-store.

I've always like Best Buy's selection, but not their prices.

i don't buy much at best buy other than video games and they have the best selection of any place that i know, other then the internet, and there prices can't go any higher, plus i live about 10 minutes away from Salem New hampshire so i don't have to pay Tax:woop:

The only problem i have with Best Buy is that they have there reciepts fade away on there own...the ink does it by itself...well once thats gone my warenty up but there not the only company that uses that practice

I could have told yall that. Shit i bought pimp my ride with my best buy xmas card and they told me they don't have it in stock and they couldn't refund my money because it was a rain check. I had to bitch for like 2 hours with a manager on the phone before i got it back. The only way i got it back was i happen to have a best buy credit card and i made him put it on it. I gave them my lawyer number and everything. My cuz works there and he tell me all the shady stuff they do.

Never had this happen to me. But I don't shop there anymore my discount at Wal-Mart saves me money on my games...

yeah, the website in the store vs whats actually online are totally different. i work there & it took a while to actually figure this out, i always thought i was getting all the crazy customers who didn't know what they were talkin about.

I have always bought my stuff here from my HDTV to my 360...I have never used the in-store computer except for signing up for Rewards Zone...

The best way is to use the Pick up In-Store feature, that way you get the right price and the fastest delivery...

one thing to keep in mind is that online there isnt as much overhead as their is for products in store, so they are able to sell things cheaper online.
