Hello,

Anyone could give me a hand figuring out how to get sound out of the xbox360 and TFT screen, with regular boxes? At home I use some sort of remote which has a jack for the sound (logitech boxes), though what to do with other regular boxes which are used for regular basic sound on a pc (without sub woofer)?

I am going to introduce the x360 to the youngsters I should watch over this friday and there will be a pc (screen) to use. There will be a possibility to get a hand on the pc as well if this could help.

thx for helping (from the kids as well)... :woop:

To use a computer screen/monitor with your 360, I would connect with a VGA cable for the best quality, etc. and you will need some sort of speakers for the sound, do you have speakers attached to the monitor or some portable Pc speakers? Use those or maybe buy a cheap pair in the mean time...

The VGA cable has the VGA connector for video and the RCA audio cables for sound. The standard white and red sound cables. It also has a converter to change the RCA output to a 3.5mm audio connector (like used for most computer speakers) for those without RCA connectors on their speakers.

Hope it helps,
Egg.

Appreciate the help...

I do have "normal" low budget pc speakers (portable) to use. However it looks to have only a 3.5mm jack like we insert in the pc (line-in). The problem I'm looking to solve is what to do to get sound out of those boxes? Can I use the line-out of the pc for instance?

I see no common sense in connecting sound from the vga cable into "regular" boxes... And I don't feel like moving my 5.1 soundsystem for 1 night visit...

thx in advance...
